Caretaker / Water Sales Executive

This role involves overseeing the comprehensive daily management and upkeep of a water facility. Key responsibilities include driving water sales, ensuring excellent customer service, managing water pumping operations, monitoring water tank levels, handling cash transactions, maintaining accurate records, ensuring facility cleanliness and security, coordinating maintenance activities, and managing water reticulation systems.

1. Drive water sales, attract new customers, and maintain existing customer relationships while providing excellent service.
2. Facilitate new water connections and accurately read meters.
3. Operate water pumps to supply residents.
4. Monitor water supply levels, pumping schedules, and consumption patterns to ensure a consistent and efficient water supply.
5. Inspect water tanks, pumps, meters, pipes, and overall water operations.
6. Maintain precise records for sales, cash, meters, and operations, submitting regular reports.
7. Ensure proper collection, accountability, and banking of all water sales revenue.
8. Maintain the cleanliness, security, safety, and general condition of the water facility.
9. Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on water lines, taps, lighting, and gates, escalating major issues to the Business Development Manager.
10. Monitor, safeguard, and report any leakages, equipment faults, breakages, water losses, or maintenance requirements.
11. Coordinate project needs and ensure adherence to company procedures.
12. Verify that water supplied to customers meets required quality and hygiene standards, reporting any suspected contamination promptly.
13. Safeguard company assets and report any irregularities or incidents without delay.
14. Undertake any other duties related to water sales and operations as assigned by management.

1. Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing Works, Sales & Marketing, Water Management, Business, or a related field (advantageous).
2. Experience in water sales, caretaking, customer service, cash handling, or facility operations (advantageous).
3. Basic computer proficiency.
4. Strong communication skills.
5. High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability.
