Job Description
The Finance Assistant will support finance systems, accounts payable, treasury functions, payroll administration, and financial reporting for the East & Southern Africa Regional Office. The role also supports financial controls, invoice reconciliation, payment processing, and audit preparation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform invoice reconciliation and payment processing.
- Prepare payment runs and bank uploads.
- Process travel advances and TER reports.
- Support payroll and treasury functions.
- Prepare and post accounting vouchers.
- Support audit preparation and financial documentation.
- Maintain internal financial controls and reporting.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years finance/accounting experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting systems skills.
- Experience with AGRESSO is an advantage.
- Strong integrity and multitasking abilities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
