Regional Director Africa

Women for Women International supports women survivors of war and conflict by equipping them with skills, resources, and opportunities to rebuild their families and communities.

The Regional Director Africa will serve as the senior leader responsible for driving revenue growth, strategic partnerships, regional coordination, and leadership support for Country Directors across Africa. The role focuses on regional fundraising, donor engagement, institutional partnerships, strategy execution, operational alignment, and strengthening Women for Women International’s presence and impact across the continent.

1. Lead Africa regional strategy and planning.
2. Drive fundraising and donor partnership development.
3. Build institutional and corporate partnerships.
4. Support Country Directors through coaching and leadership.
5. Coordinate regional collaboration and performance management.
6. Lead stakeholder engagement and regional representation.
7. Support governance, safeguarding, and compliance initiatives.
8. Strengthen cross-functional coordination across programs and operations.

1. Master’s degree required.
2. Minimum 10 years senior leadership experience in fundraising, partnerships, international development, or related fields.
3. Proven track record raising at least $5 million annually from multiple donor sources.
4. Experience managing multi-country programs in Africa.
5. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
6. Strong understanding of African philanthropic and funding ecosystems.
7. Commitment to women’s rights and gender equality.
