Tour Sales Consultant
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client inquiries, bookings, and payments via WhatsApp, email, and calls
- Create detailed itineraries that include all client requests and services
- Generate invoices for confirmed bookings and follow up on payments
- Collect client feedback and address concerns
- Communicate booking and itinerary changes clearly before and during trips
- Resolve issues early to ensure high client satisfaction
- Support achievement of weekly and monthly sales targets
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Tour Administration, Tour Consulting, Tourism Management, Hotel Management, or Hospitality
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the travel industry, especially in tour consulting or hotel operations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially with the English-speaking international market
- Proven experience selling East Africa itineraries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania)
- Ability to handle multiple client requests efficiently
- Highly organized with strong deadline management skills
- Willingness to work varied hours when necessary
