This role involves engagement with regional and global D&A functions, working closely with business units and functions in SSA to understand commercial value drivers, and leading the governance of IT roadmap plans and budgets.

1. Engagement for global programs and ensuring revised DevSecOps structure is operational and remains BAU.
2. Work closely with countries and functions in SSA to understand what drives commercial value.
3. Lead the governance of IT roadmap plans and budgets.
4. Explore and align priorities to deliver commercial value so end market manager can help create awareness and manage expectation.
5. Alignment on automation roadmap and processes; continuously enhance operating model and ensure data related issues are managed by D&A Scrum / DevOps; alignment on access control and compliance related protocol.
6. Ensuring project delivery is completed in line with budgets and is producing tangible cost efficiencies.
7. Assist in building analytical capabilities and insights to drive key decision making across our DRBU.
8. Assist with managing developers and teams across the delivery framework.
9. Manage cross-functional teams, ensure on-time delivery, communicate effectively with sponsors, stakeholders and project teams.
10. Assist with mentoring and development of D&A value stream – Service Providers.
11. Assist with identifying opportunities and uplift of end markets, as required, based on the prioritised backlog.
12. Including gap analysis for operational data required in systems and assistance to ensure all processes are being followed.
13. Assist to develop the corporate data model by sharing key requirements from the different end markets within APMEA SSA.
14. Partnership with business teams in all functions at all decision-making levels to understand and identify data requirements to feedback and ensure the global data model fits with end market requirements.
15. Assist with transformation of the data environment, ecosystem, models, ways of working, whilst continuing to deliver for the region.
16. Assist resource management as we transition to global services operating model and resource teams.
17. QA of all work from delivery teams to ensure correct processes have been followed and governed.
18. Cost tracking, including effort estimate and cost estimation, cost tracking and recharging as required to assist the IDT Regional D&A Manager and Finance Teams.
19. Assist developers working on the use cases with stakeholder management, quality management and ensuring the correct processes are being deployed and that the use case offers value to the business.
20. Including assisting with benefit realisation tracking and management.
21. Oversee the management of internal scoping practices to ensure they are being delivered in the best way that align with BATs pillars, objectives and strategies.
22. Drive discovery from both a qualitative and quantitative context to build solid, data driven, business plans and strategies.
23. Ensure there is a great user experience for all use cases delivered to our stakeholders and ensuring all aspects of the use case are Consumer centric, easy to use and deliver, and that the stakeholders are managed professionally with full, complete and concise communication.
