The Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Ankara is seeking a reliable, disciplined, and hardworking Office Assistant to support day-to-day operations of the Embassy. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, supporting office administration, handling messenger duties, and ensuring a conducive working environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain offices, workspaces, hallways, common areas, and washrooms to high standards.
- Sweep, mop, buff, dust, and polish floors, furniture, and office surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets and office furnishings regularly.
- Ensure office supplies and consumables are adequately stocked and replenished.
- Empty trash bins and maintain proper waste disposal procedures.
- Carry out office support and messenger duties as assigned.
- Arrange meeting venues and ensure meeting rooms are prepared professionally.
- Perform gardening and landscaping duties within the Embassy compound.
- Monitor heating, cooling, and general building utility systems and report any issues promptly.
- Support Embassy staff in maintaining an organized and efficient working environment.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and orderliness within assigned areas at all times.
Requirements
- High School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Turkish languages.
- Must be between 25 and 40 years of age.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions and correspondence.
- Medical clearance certificate from a recognized health facility.
- Valid Police Clearance Certificate / Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Non-Turkish applicants must possess a valid Work Permit or Resident Permit valid for at least six months.
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae with three professional referees.
- Excellent organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
