I.T Services & Infrastructure Officer

Kilimall.co.ke is Kenya’s largest online shopping mall, launched in July 2014 with the mission to become Africa’s No.1 E-commerce platform. It serves a rapidly growing retail customer base, offering products across various categories including electronics, clothing, home appliances, and baby products.

The I.T Services & Infrastructure Officer at Kilimall.co.ke will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of all IT services and infrastructure across the company's locations. This includes managing end-to-end website operations, providing essential IT support for warehouse systems, maintaining office equipment, and overseeing CCTV and security systems. The role also involves managing IT security, delivering day-to-day IT support, and coordinating a small IT team to ensure efficient service delivery and system adoption.

1. Ensure reliable power, network, and internet connectivity across all company locations, managing LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, UPS, and backup systems, and coordinating with ISPs.
2. Maintain Warehouse Management System (WMS), scanners, printers, and other warehouse IT systems, providing timely on-site troubleshooting during peak operations.
3. Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, and network devices, supporting their lifecycle management.
4. Maintain CCTV systems, ensuring proper recording, storage, and retrieval of surveillance data for investigations.
5. Manage user accounts, access rights, onboarding, role changes, and offboarding, enforcing password and access control standards to prevent unauthorized access.
6. Provide daily IT support for office and warehouse operations, ensuring support requests are resolved within agreed SLA timelines.
7. Supervise and support IT staff, train employees on internal systems, e-commerce platforms, and warehouse tools, and develop SOPs and user guides.

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or support roles.
3. Preferred experience with multi-site IT environments, particularly in warehouse or operational settings.
4. Hands-on experience with network and hardware troubleshooting, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
5. Familiarity with power backup systems such as UPS and generators.
6. Experience with CCTV systems.
7. Basic knowledge of IT security and access control principles.
8. Strong execution ability, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to supervise a small team.
