KWETU is seeking qualified Mariculture Assistants/Technicians to support Blue Mariculture Project activities and hatchery operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Diploma in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Marine Resources, Aquatic Sciences, Microbiology, Marine Engineering, or related field
• Experience in coastal and marine aquaculture technology
• Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends
• Basic report writing skills
• Experience with marine hatchery equipment is an added advantage
Requirements
• Support hatchery operations and mariculture infrastructure management
• Conduct water quality monitoring and troubleshoot hatchery challenges
• Assist in farmer training and project implementation
• Prepare activity reports and technical documentation
• Monitor demo sites and marine culture facilities
