MAGENTA is looking for an experienced SBC Programme Manager to lead social and behavioural change programmes, generate new business opportunities, and manage strategic partnerships across global development projects.

Amman, Jordan / Nairobi, Kenya / Mexico City, Mexico / Bangkok, Thailand
Start Date:
1st July 2026
Contract Type:
Fixed Term – Grade D
Remuneration:
USD 250 per day (up to a maximum of 220 working days per year)

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients and partners
• Generate new business opportunities and programme expansion
• Lead planning and implementation of SBC programmes
• Ensure programme quality assurance and operational excellence
• Manage technical service providers and suppliers
• Supervise Programme Officers and Interns where necessary
• Support a creative, solutions-oriented, and accountable team culture
Requirements
• Relevant Degree from a top-tier university (Master’s preferred)
• 6–10 years’ experience in the development sector
• At least 2 years’ experience in social and behavioural change, strategic communications, campaigns, or community engagement
• Proven experience in business development and partnership building
• Minimum 4 years managing multicultural teams and projects
• Strong understanding of international development and donor compliance requirements
• Experience working with UN agencies and governments is an added advantage
• Excellent written and spoken English required
• Arabic, French, and/or Spanish is an added advantage
• Proficiency in Office 365 and digital tools

Additional Information:
• Approximately 30% international travel required

• Core operating hours: 10am – 4pm GMT
