African Labour Solutions (ALS), a busy and well-established dental clinic located along Ridgeways – Kiambu Road, is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Radiographer to provide safe, accurate, and high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate imaging equipment including digital X-ray and ultrasound machines
• Ensure imaging procedures comply with radiation protection guidelines
• Maintain validity of the department’s radiation license
• Monitor proper usage and reading of TLD badges to prevent radiation overexposure
• Ensure radiology equipment is properly maintained and serviced
• Report equipment faults and breakdowns promptly
• Maintain accurate patient imaging records and confidentiality
• Support clinicians with imaging needs for accurate diagnosis and patient care
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the radiology unit
Requirements
• Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences
• Higher Diploma in Ultrasound is an added advantage
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Registered and licensed by the Kenya Radiation Protection Board
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional and patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently and within a team
