Compliance Officer

Mini Group is a recruitment and business solutions company recruiting on behalf of an internal client across various industries.

This role is responsible for ensuring the organization complies with statutory, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with regulatory agencies, support inspections, and maintain accurate compliance documentation.

The position is ideal for a legal professional interested in compliance, governance, and risk management within a corporate environment.

1. Monitor compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
2. Track and coordinate timely renewal of permits, licenses, certifications, and statutory filings.
3. Support inspections by KEBS, NEMA, DOSHS, County Health, Fire, Labour, and other authorities.
4. Maintain accurate compliance records, reports, dashboards, and documentation.
5. Identify compliance risks, gaps, non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
6. Support legal, contractual, and litigation documentation.
7. Assist in policy development, implementation, and staff compliance training.
8. Support food safety, HSE, ISO, KEBS, HACCP, and GMP compliance.

1. Bachelor's Degree in Law.
2. Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
3. 0–2 years' experience in compliance or regulatory work, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
4. Knowledge of corporate, labour, environmental, and food safety laws.
5. Experience dealing with KEBS, DOSHS, NEMA, and other regulatory bodies is an added advantage.
6. Strong analytical, investigative, communication, and reporting skills.
7. High integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
