Job Description

The Brands and Admissions Associate at Nova Pioneer is responsible for organizing and implementing events designed to enhance engagement with existing parents and drive admissions from new families. This includes collaborating with external partners when necessary. A key aspect of the role is collecting and analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of admissions events and propose improvements. The associate will also manage the entire applicant journey, from initial application to final admission decision, ensuring a smooth and timely process that aligns with the Nova Pioneer brand. Regular updates on applicant progress will be provided to management. Additionally, the role involves leading all communications with parents, including drafting, proofreading, and revising content across various channels, and escalating issues as needed. The associate will also be responsible for maintaining the Brand and Admissions dashboard, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to track progress against objectives, and managing the procurement of marketing and promotional materials within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Organize and execute events to increase engagement with current parents and attract prospective families.
  2. Liaise with external companies and individuals for event execution.
  3. Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of admissions events and recommend improvements.
  4. Track applicants through the entire admissions funnel, from application to decision, ensuring an organized and timely process.
  5. Monitor admissions data and provide regular updates on progress to management and the team.
  6. Lead all written, verbal, and electronic communications with parents of Nova students.
  7. Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications across various channels.
  8. Escalate communication issues as necessary.
  9. Maintain and update the Brand and Admissions dashboard in a timely manner.
  10. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on activities to measure progress against team objectives.
  11. Liaise with the External Relations Team to order and replenish marketing materials, promotional items, decorative materials, admissions materials, and Nova Pioneer merchandise within budget.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience, with experience in marketing and communications being ideal but not mandatory.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and persuasive pitches.
  4. Goal-oriented, proactive, and takes ownership of work.
  5. Strong data skills, including structuring, analyzing, and interpreting data to make informed decisions.
  6. Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks, supporting junior staff, and meeting deadlines.
  7. Entrepreneurial and empathetic, with an understanding of various Nova Pioneer stakeholders and creative communication approaches.
  8. Strategic thinker, able to independently develop and execute plans with clear timelines.
  9. Described as a self-starter with a strong work ethic by previous managers.
  10. Enjoys interacting with new people, building relationships, and possesses strong interpersonal skills.
  11. Passionate about education (required) and possesses deep knowledge of the education sector (desired).
  12. Good analytical skills and data-driven approach.
  13. Social media savvy.
  14. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  15. Excited about Nova Pioneer's organizational culture, embracing mutual vulnerability and feedback.
