Job Description
This role involves managing the procurement and supply chain activities for PrideInn Hotels, Resorts & Camp. The Assistant Purchasing Manager will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring efficient inventory management to support the company's hospitality operations across its various locations in Kenya.
Requirements
- Hold a Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Possess at least 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the hospitality, restaurant, or FMCG industry.
- Demonstrate strong procurement and negotiation skills.
- Exhibit excellent supplier management abilities.
- Have good knowledge of purchasing procedures and inventory management.
- Possess strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Show excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Be able to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
