Job Description
The Sous Chef will lead and manage the à la carte kitchens, supporting banqueting and overall kitchen operations while ensuring high culinary standards and food safety. This role involves motivating and developing the culinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the à la carte kitchens, providing support for banqueting and general kitchen operations.
- Ensure consistent quality and high culinary standards across all food and beverage outlets.
- Assist the Executive Chef with daily culinary tasks and operations.
- Motivate and foster the professional development of the culinary team.
- Uphold stringent food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of culinary experience, with demonstrated experience in a similar Sous Chef capacity.
- Have strong experience working in a 5-star hotel environment.
- Exhibit extensive knowledge of both à la carte and banqueting operations.
- Demonstrate proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Be creative, innovative, and deeply passionate about food.
- Be well-organized, energetic, and capable of performing effectively under pressure.
