Direct Sales Representative

KCB Bank Kenya is a leading financial institution in Kenya, established in 1877. It provides a wide range of banking and financial services.

KCB Bank Kenya is seeking a Direct Sales Representative to join their team on a 12-month contract. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive new business acquisition within specific assigned sales locations, reporting directly to the Branch Manager.

1. Identify and source prospective customer leads through various channels including referrals, cross-selling, bank-organized activations, and provided sales leads.
2. Clearly explain product features to potential customers, ensuring fair treatment.
3. Assist customers in accurately completing product application forms.
4. Review submitted applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
5. Authenticate customer details by verifying original documents against photocopies, such as National IDs and passports.
6. Forward all completed applications to the relevant Sales Manager or Retail Support Team within 24 hours of customer sign-off.
7. Proactively identify and prospect customers for other suitable bank products.
8. Ensure the secure custody of all customer documents under their care.
9. Relay customer feedback and complaints to the respective Sales or Branch Manager.
10. Share market insights from the field with leadership to aid product improvement and provide regular sales reports.

1. Hold a recent diploma or university degree from a recognized institution.
2. Achieved a minimum Mean grade of C- (Minus) in K.C.S.E.
3. Possess excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
4. Demonstrate a strong passion and commitment to delivering quality service.
5. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Capable of meeting challenging targets within specified deadlines.
7. Prior experience in sales or client relationship management is an advantage.
