Job Description
CJ's is hiring a Hostess to join their team. This role involves creating an excellent first impression for guests, efficiently managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all patrons.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests, manage seating arrangements, and oversee restaurant traffic flow.
- Handle reservations and coordinate with the service team for efficient operations, especially during peak hours.
- Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience and gather feedback.
- Maintain clean and organized seating areas and ensure menus are current.
- Support the restaurant team in providing outstanding customer service.
Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Certificate in Food and Beverage Service or an equivalent qualification.
- Have 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced or fine-dining restaurant environment.
- Demonstrate a lively, outgoing, and welcoming personality with excellent personal grooming standards.
- Exhibit high emotional intelligence and the ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
- Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
