Job Description

The E&E FP&A CoE Insights Manager is responsible for leading the Centre of Excellence function within English & Exams, ensuring the integrity and consistency of financial data. This involves overseeing insights analysts, driving process optimization, and establishing robust governance frameworks to support accurate planning, forecasting, and reporting. The role focuses on delivering reliable financial information to enable informed business decisions and operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Act as the subject matter expert for E&E financial data, ensuring quality, consistency, and accurate reconciliations across various platforms like SAP, Anaplan, and reporting templates.
  2. Monitor key financial datasets, identify variances and trends, and provide clear narratives and insights for planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision-making.
  3. Maintain audit-ready documentation and collaborate with Business Partners to align financial data inputs with business outputs.
  4. Lead initiatives for standardizing financial processes, reporting, and automation to enhance efficiency, consistency, and internal controls.
  5. Deliver accurate, timely, and reconciled financial information, summaries, and trend analyses to support performance reviews and business decisions.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies, improve reporting quality, and maintain consistent data definitions across regions.
  7. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, setting objectives, managing performance, and building capabilities in financial planning, reporting, and analytics.
  8. Foster a collaborative team culture, prioritize workloads, and ensure successful delivery across multiple country demands.
  9. Support BDS compliance, audits, and assurance activities.
  10. Strengthen data governance, documentation standards, master data structures, and reporting frameworks to improve financial control and insights across markets and regions.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree.
  2. Significant experience in financial data analysis, FP&A, or management accounting.
  3. Proven experience in leading data quality and reconciliation processes.
  4. Experience with Anaplan or similar Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms.
  5. Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a matrix or multi-country organizational context.
  6. Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial datasets across multiple markets or business units.
  7. Strong capability in financial modelling, forecasting, and analytics.
  8. Ability to simplify complex information for senior executives.
  9. Strong data literacy, including Power BI, dashboarding, and data modelling, coupled with effective business storytelling using data.
  10. Track record of delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis under tight deadlines (desirable).
  11. Experience with SAP or similar ERP platforms (desirable).
  12. Experience in delivering financial training or capacity-building (desirable).
  13. Advanced data quality and reconciliation skills, including identifying inconsistencies and guiding corrective actions.
  14. Proficiency in analysis and variance report preparation, with the ability to interpret data patterns and provide preliminary insights.
  15. Team leadership skills, including coaching, developing, and managing a small team.
  16. EPM systems proficiency, particularly strong working knowledge of Anaplan, and experience with SAP and related reporting tools.
  17. High accuracy and attention to detail to ensure data integrity across markets and regions.
  18. Excellent communication skills to explain financial data clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences.
  19. Written and verbal proficiency in English.
