Job Description

Prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked products while maintaining food safety and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare pastries, breads, desserts, and chocolates.
  2. Develop seasonal and cost-effective dessert menus.
  3. Maintain premium presentation standards.
  4. Manage ingredient ordering and stock control.
  5. Monitor food costs and minimize wastage.
  6. Ensure HACCP food safety compliance.
  7. Handle customer requests and feedback professionally.
  8. Maintain baking equipment in excellent condition.

Requirements

  1. Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry, or Baking.
  2. Professional pastry chef or bakery experience.
  3. Knowledge of doughs, batters, custards, and chocolate tempering.
  4. Menu planning and recipe development skills.
  5. Experience in inventory and cost management.
  6. Creativity and attention to detail.
  7. Valid Food Handler’s Certificate.
