Bidco Africa is seeking an experienced audit professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, proficiency in SAP, and the ability to effectively leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Possess a mandatory Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) qualification.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualifications are an added advantage.
- Have a minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in internal audit, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly inventory management, production planning, and material balancing.
- Possess experience in auditing procurement, production, warehouse, inventory, finance, and sales processes.
- Be proficient in SAP, with the ability to extract, analyze, and interpret data.
- Have experience in conducting risk-based audits and preparing comprehensive audit reports.
- Be able to responsibly leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP queries, CAATs, Copilot) to analyze large datasets, identify exceptions, and independently validate outputs before reporting.
- Possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a small audit team, with strong stakeholder engagement and report-writing skills.
