Scholarship Description
The projects focus on data mining and bioinformatics in tumor biology. MSc. and Ph.D. projects are available, offering hands-on experience in cancer bioinformatics research.
Eligibility / Requirements
- Be continuing students enrolled in a university studying biomedical science, biochemistry, molecular medicine, molecular biology, cell biology, computational biology, bioinformatics, data science, or related fields at MSc. or Ph.D. level
- Have completed or be nearing completion of MSc/PhD coursework and ready for the research phase
- Have proficiency and/or willingness to learn R programming and other data analysis tools
- Have knowledge and/or experience with omics data analysis (added advantage)
- Be familiar with data mining and statistical analysis techniques
- Possess excellent academic writing and scientific communication skills
- Have strong problem-solving skills, quantitative mindset, and attention to detail
