Job Description
The Human Resource Officer will oversee HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management while ensuring compliance with Kenyan labour laws and supporting a positive workplace culture. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing HR policies and procedures while supporting employee engagement, talent acquisition, and organizational development initiatives. This position requires an experienced HR professional capable of managing day-to-day HR operations and partnering with management to deliver effective people management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement HR policies and procedures in line with the club's values and legal requirements.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and employee relations.
- Administer performance management and employee development programs.
- Oversee HR operations including payroll, benefits and records management.
- Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement.
- Provide HR support and guidance to management and staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- CHRPK certification or equivalent is an added advantage.
