The successful candidate will support the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) by maintaining accurate aircraft technical records, monitoring component traceability, managing maintenance documentation, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented aviation professional with experience in aircraft technical documentation and continuing airworthiness management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of aircraft flying hours, engine cycles, and maintenance history.
- Update and manage aircraft component tracking systems to ensure complete maintenance traceability.
- Open, review, and close maintenance job cards while ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
- Monitor life-limited aircraft components, mandatory inspections, and scheduled maintenance activities.
- Maintain records for aircraft components including Time Between Overhaul (TBO), Life Limited Parts (LLPs), and On-Condition (OC) components.
- Prepare monthly aircraft utilization reports and technical maintenance reports.
- Secure, preserve, and archive aircraft maintenance records in accordance with aviation regulations.
- Monitor technical records to ensure regulatory compliance and facilitate efficient retrieval during inspections and audits.
- Perform quality checks on completed maintenance packages to ensure documentation meets Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) requirements.
- Verify aircraft parts traceability documentation, including FAA Form 8130-3, EASA Form 1, and other approved release certificates.
- Retrieve and present aircraft technical records during regulatory inspections, ramp checks, safety investigations, and internal or external audits.
- Work closely with the CAMO & Reliability Manager and maintenance teams to ensure continued airworthiness compliance.
Requirements
- Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum two (2) to three (3) years of hands-on experience in Technical Records Management within an approved CAMO environment, airline, maintenance organization, or aviation operator.
- Aircraft Documentation certification or related professional training is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAMO) documentation requirements.
- Knowledge of civil aviation regulations governing aircraft maintenance records and technical documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify documentation errors, inconsistencies, and missing records.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and record management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining regulatory compliance.
