Job Description
The Youth Mentor will support school and community outreach activities under the IMARA Project. The role focuses on mentorship, awareness creation, and youth engagement around health and social issues. This is a voluntary opportunity with activity-based remuneration.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor young people in schools and communities
- Participate in outreach and awareness activities
- Support health and reproductive rights education programs
- Act as a positive role model for youth
- Assist with community mobilization activities
Requirements
- Aged between 18 and 35 years
- Completed at least Form Four education
- Reside near target schools within Busia County
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in community work is an advantage
- Willingness to participate in outreach activities
- Leadership potential and positive character traits
- Understanding of health-related topics is an added advantage
