Job Description

On the back of a strong growth trajectory and in a bid to power the business, HFCB Bancassurance Intermediary is looking to recruit a dynamic and results-oriented Direct Sales Representative – Bancassurance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers.
  2. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  3. Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and continuously improve through feedback.
  4. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  5. Deliver the agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within agreed timelines.
  6. Coordinate sales effort/activations with team members and other departments.
  7. Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
  8. Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
  9. Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  10. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  1. Diploma from a reputable institution. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent will be of an added advantage.
  2. Certificate of proficiency in Insurance (COP) – Mandatory.
  3. ACII or AIIK or progress towards the same will be an added advantage.
  4. Six months sales experience.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Excellent knowledge of MS office.
  7. Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  8. Excellent planning and organization skills.
  9. Ability to work under pressure.
  10. Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
  11. Knowledgeable with industry’s rules and regulations.
  12. Results driven and customer focused.
  13. Basic understanding of the insurance industry and products.
