Branch Manager, Imara Daima Branch

The Branch Manager at KCB Bank Kenya's Imara Daima Branch is tasked with driving profitability through revenue maximization and effective cost control. This role involves expanding both the liability and asset portfolios to meet business objectives and actively growing the customer base while retaining existing clients by ensuring high levels of satisfaction and cross-selling bank products. The manager will oversee overall branch operations, ensuring efficient resource utilization and delivering exceptional customer service by upholding high service standards. A key aspect of the role is ensuring strict adherence to the Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework and fostering a high-performing team through motivation, coaching, and development.

1. Achieve profitability targets through revenue maximization and prudent cost management.
2. Grow and monitor the branch’s liability and asset portfolios to achieve business targets.
3. Expand the customer base and ensure retention of existing customers through high satisfaction and cross-selling.
4. Manage overall branch operations by efficiently utilizing resources.
5. Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining high service standards.
6. Ensure compliance with the Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework.
7. Motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.

1. Hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution.
2. Possess Cash Management Training.
3. Have a minimum of 6 years of general banking experience.
4. Include at least 6 months of experience in Branch Operations, covering Cash, Clearing, Accounts, and Administration.
5. Demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in roles such as Personal/Business/Retail Banking or Sales Manager, Credit Management, and Customer Service / Relationship Management.
