Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant HR & Operations Manager to support day-to-day operations, strengthen systems, coordinate logistics, and handle HR administration. This role combines operational coordination with people-support capability, working alongside HR to maintain a high-performance, accountable culture.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily office and site operations – logistics, inventory tracking, procurement support
  2. Improve workflow efficiency and service delivery
  3. Supervise support staff including drivers, office assistants, and cleaners
  4. Ensure documentation, timelines, and technical standards are consistently met
  5. Support recruitment administration, onboarding, and employee record management
  6. Work alongside HR on performance coordination, leave tracking, and compliance
  7. Assist with staff welfare and team wellbeing initiatives
  8. Handle confidential staff matters with discretion and integrity
  9. Coordinate project delivery support, site quality control, and inventory management
  10. Liaise with transport, logistics, and external service providers
  11. Support budget tracking and operational efficiency
  12. Maintain high standards in office and site compliance

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Business Administration, HR Management, or a related field
  2. 3+ years in an administrative, HR, or operations coordination role within interior design, architectural finishes, or construction
  3. Must have experience managing records, supporting recruitment, or coordinating people processes
  4. Familiarity with construction or design industry operations
  5. Organizational Excellence: You manage competing priorities without dropping the ball
  6. Reliability: People count on you to follow through
  7. Discretion & Integrity: You handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality
  8. Tech Proficiency: MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) plus HR or inventory systems
  9. Team Support: You help others do their best work
