Network Administrator

Gertrude's Children's Hospital is a leading pediatric healthcare institution dedicated to providing high-quality medical care for children.

This role is crucial for maintaining continuous accessibility of clinical and enterprise systems across all hospital facilities. The administrator will be responsible for implementing and operating network security controls in collaboration with the Cyber Security team, as well as establishing the network infrastructure required for new clinical, biomedical, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The Network Administrator will work closely with the ICT team, clinical departments, service providers, and vendors to deliver a resilient, well-documented, and scalable network that supports safe and high-quality patient care.

1. Manage the availability, performance, capacity, and integrity of the hospital's network, including LAN, WAN, internet, wireless services, inter-site links, IP telephony, and cloud connectivity.
2. Ensure 24/7 accessibility of clinical and enterprise systems across all hospital facilities.
3. Implement and operate network security controls as defined in collaboration with the Cyber Security team.
4. Provide the foundational network infrastructure for new clinical, biomedical, and IoT technologies.
5. Collaborate with the ICT team, clinical departments, service providers, and vendors to maintain a resilient, well-documented, and scalable network that supports quality care delivery.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator.
3. Hold a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Fortinet NSE (Network Security Professional), or an equivalent industry-recognized networking certification.
