Retail & SME Dealer

Reporting to the Head – Retail & SME Forex, the Retail & SME Dealer will play a crucial role in expanding our Forex revenues and enhancing our market presence. You will have the chance to build and nurture strong relationships with retail clients, offering expert advice and tailored solutions that address their unique financial needs. Your deep market knowledge and strategic insights will drive our Forex sales initiatives and help us stay ahead in a competitive environment.

1. Enhance Forex revenues through proactive engagement with the Retail and Business Banking Division.
2. Regularly interact with branches, participate in relevant forums, and support branch staff through training and capacity-building efforts.
3. Resolve branch queries promptly and improve FX processes and products to stay competitive.
4. Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored treasury solutions to meet their financial needs.
5. Provide expert advice on treasury products, risk management, and market trends.
6. Develop and execute strategies to boost Forex sales and revenue from Retail and SME customers.
7. Stay updated with market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes.
8. Develop expertise in various treasury products and provide insightful recommendations on investment opportunities and risk management.
9. Track and report Forex product performance across branches.
10. Monitor Incoming and Outgoing Swift performance to ensure efficiency.
11. Work with Marketing & PR to support Forex product promotions and establish a strong outdoor presence.

1. A University Degree in a business-related field with an ACI Dealing Certificate.
2. A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a busy dealing room.
3. An understanding of CBK and Banking Acts.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of Treasury functions, including Back-Office processing.
5. Strong presentation, risk analysis, and treasury operations skills.
6. Excellent communication, strong selling, networking, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
7. Analytical, presentation, and report writing abilities.
8. Team-oriented with the capability to work under pressure.
9. Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
10. Resilient and adaptable to challenging targets.
11. Special Position Requirements: Frequent travel required for branch and customer visits.
