Merchandiser

To ensure excellent product visibility, stock availability and in-store execution across assigned retail outlets.

1. Ensure products are correctly displayed according to company merchandising standards and planograms.
2. Monitor stock levels and ensure shelves are adequately replenished at all times.
3. Check product expiry dates and remove damaged, expired or obsolete stock from display areas.
4. Maintain cleanliness and attractiveness of product displays and shelves.
5. Implement promotional activities, point-of-sale materials, and marketing campaigns as directed.
6. Conduct regular stock counts and report stock shortages, overstocks and slow-moving products.
7. Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions and product placement and provide feedback to management.
8. Build and maintain positive working relationships with supermarket staff and management.
9. Prepare and submit daily and weekly merchandising reports as required.

1. Minimum KCSE certificate.
2. Certificate or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is an added advantage.
3. Previous merchandising, sales, or retail experience will be an added advantage.
4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Basic reporting and record-keeping skills.
