Job Description
The primary objective of the Endpoint IT Specialist Officer is to provide comprehensive support to the IT Technical Operations Management team at NCBA. This involves diligently handling repairs, including both hardware and software fault diagnosis, to ensure the smooth functioning of the bank's IT infrastructure. The role also emphasizes maintaining integrity, transparency, and professionalism in all technical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure IT technical operations management, particularly hardware and software fault diagnosis and repairs, is conducted with integrity, transparency, and professionalism.
- Prevent unnecessary procurement of IT assets.
- Conduct frequent inventory checks as requested.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all held IT assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an added advantage.
- Adequate understanding of various banking business systems and computer operations processes.
- Demonstrable experience working in a professional IT environment.
- Sound knowledge of Information Technology principles and practices.
