BNS Smart Meters is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Water Engineer to design and optimize smart utility and metering systems with 4+ years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee installation of smart water metering and distribution systems
- Conduct hydraulic network modeling and analyze water flow data
- Manage water loss reduction and Non-Revenue Water (NRW) programs
- Support integration of water IoT devices and smart valves
- Ensure compliance with environmental and water quality standards
- Collaborate with civil engineers and software teams on system integration
- Maintain technical documentation for water infrastructure
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Water Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Experience in water distribution, hydraulic modeling, or utility operations (4+ years preferred)
- Knowledge of smart metering, IoT, or SCADA systems is an advantage
- Strong understanding of water safety and environmental standards
- Problem-solving and hands-on technical ability
- Ability to work in field and office environments
