Senior Manager IT Applications & Asset Management

This senior management role involves leading the operational support for Bancassurance and Investment Banking applications, ensuring high service availability and stability. The manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives, oversee technical project delivery for related applications, and maintain comprehensive documentation. Key aspects include building team capabilities, ensuring business continuity, and verifying compliance with various standards for new software and integrations.

1. Provide operational leadership for day-to-day support of Bancassurance and Investment Banking applications, ensuring service availability, stability, and timely escalation according to agreed service levels.
2. Manage the Business Applications Support team by planning, directing, coordinating, reviewing work, allocating tasks, assessing outcomes, and resolving operational or service-delivery issues.
3. Drive continuous improvement through system enhancements, automation, process improvements, and user training for Bancassurance and Investment Banking applications to boost operational efficiency, controls, and customer service.
4. Lead technical project delivery for applications in Bancassurance, Investment Banking, Custody, and Wealth Management, including integrations with core banking, digital, finance, and third-party systems.
5. Maintain comprehensive application documentation, including support procedures, project and incident reports, process and user manuals, technical plans, integration specifications, and service-performance reports.
6. Develop team capabilities in Bancassurance and Investment Banking application support through workforce planning, coaching, knowledge transfer, targeted training, performance management, and staff engagement.
7. Develop and maintain business continuity, disaster recovery, monitoring, and support procedures to minimize downtime and safeguard the availability, integrity, and resilience of Bancassurance and Investment Banking services.
8. Define and oversee testing methods for application changes, integrations, upgrades, and fixes, verifying compliance with functional, security, performance, and quality standards, and monitoring defects through to resolution.
9. Review proposed software, vendor solutions, and integrations to ensure compliance with architecture, security, regulatory, operational risk, and quality assurance standards before acquisition or implementation.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer/Electronics Engineering.
2. Master’s degree in Management or IT (advantageous).
3. Professional qualifications such as MCP/MCSA/MCSE/MCITP/ITIL/RedHat.
4. Experience in LINUX/UNIX Administration (advantageous).
5. Experience in Cloud Management (Azure, AWS, OCI) (advantageous).
6. Project Management certification (PMP, SCRUM, AGILE) (advantageous).
7. Experience in Database Management (advantageous).
8. Minimum of 6 years of total experience.
9. Operational and technical understanding of various payment platforms, including Bancassurance, Investment and Wealth Banking, and third-party integrations.
10. Understanding of Financial, Insurance, Wealth, and Investment Services regulatory and audit frameworks.
11. Basic knowledge of budgeting, contracting, and purchasing practices, policies, and procedures.
12. Familiarity with methods and techniques for installation, administration, monitoring, upgrading, and problem resolution of central application software systems.
13. Knowledge of supervision and training principles.
14. Understanding of quality assurance and security principles related to complex payment systems and applications.
15. Experience with application development and troubleshooting principles and practices.
16. Demonstrated effective analysis, communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
17. Knowledge of project management and administration principles and practices.
18. Experience with relevant banking industry practices, including SOAP, Restful, and Files integrations.
19. Understanding of contract negotiation and administration principles.
