Job Description
Are you passionate about data science, sustainability, and contributing to the future of food systems? We’re seeking applications for two Research Associates to join our collaborative research team working on food system models for the Kenya Interactive Food System. You’ll work closely with colleagues across SNi®, the Riddet Institute, Massey University – Te Kunenga ki Pürehuroa, and international research partners to generate high-quality, impactful research.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of food system models for the Kenya Interactive Food System project
Requirements
- Experience using R for data management, analysis, modelling, and visualisation
- Experience working with large datasets, including survey, experimental, census, and/or GIS data
- A relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s degree or higher) and at least three years’ relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- An interest in science, nutrition, sustainability, and food systems research
- The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary and international research teams
