The Critical Care Nurse, reporting to the Nurse In-Charge – ICU, is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients in critical condition. This includes ensuring all care aligns with established hospital policies and procedures, and actively contributing to a safe, well-coordinated, and effective patient care environment within the Critical Care Unit.
Requirements
- Possess a Higher Diploma in Critical Care Nursing (KRCCN).
- Hold a Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing; a degree in Nursing is an added advantage.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a Critical Care Unit following KRCCN training and licensure.
- Maintain valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Demonstrate strong nursing, customer service, and patient safety skills.
