The Cyber Security Expert at Biometrics Technology Limited will be responsible for protecting client information systems and digital assets. This involves leading the creation, deployment, and upkeep of security protocols, policies, and procedures to defend against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. The role also includes supporting digital transformation efforts for the company's esteemed clients.

1. Lead cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance activities.
2. Oversee security frameworks, controls, monitoring systems, and incident response procedures.
3. Ensure secure design principles, effective access management, timely patching, and overall system protection.
4. Drive innovation in applications, automation, and digital solutions.
5. Support disaster recovery planning, business continuity efforts, and security awareness programs.
6. Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and training to teams.
7. Collaborate with IT teams and various business units to integrate security considerations into all projects.
8. Monitor and report on key security performance metrics.

1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
2. Possess a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or an equivalent internationally recognized credential.
3. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in development roles or IT security.
4. Demonstrate expert knowledge of at least one programming language.
5. Possess experience with various security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus software, and encryption.
6. Be familiar with industry security frameworks and standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST.
7. Exhibit strong software development and full-stack application skills.
8. Have knowledge of databases like MySQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
9. Be proficient with APIs, web services, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
10. Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
11. Be capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
