Sales Account Manager

Safari Park Hotel & Casino is a leading hospitality establishment in Kenya, founded in 1974, offering tourist and guest facilities.

Safari Park Hotel & Casino is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join its Sales & Marketing team. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, expanding the customer base, strengthening client relationships, and promoting the hotel’s hospitality services both locally and internationally.

1. Promote and market the hotel’s tourist and guest facilities in Kenya and international markets.
2. Manage day-to-day direct sales activities within assigned customer segments and territories.
3. Identify, develop, and maintain new business opportunities and customer relationships.
4. Conduct regular sales calls and collect customer feedback and market intelligence.
5. Monitor competitors’ products, pricing, promotions, and market activities to maintain the hotel’s competitive advantage.
6. Represent the hotel through networking events, public relations activities, industry functions, and familiarization trips.
7. Attend relevant business and social events, including evenings and weekends when required.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
2. Professional qualifications in Sales and Marketing.
3. At least 5 years’ experience in sales within the tourism and hospitality industry.
4. Experience working with international markets, Government institutions, or UN agencies will be an added advantage.
5. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
6. Excellent business development and relationship management abilities.
7. Self-driven, outgoing, and able to work with minimal supervision.
8. Strong business acumen with excellent problem-solving skills.
