Cards Business Development Manager

Kenya Commercial Bank Limited is registered as a non-operating holding company which started operations as a licensed banking institution with effect from January 1, 2016. The holding company oversees KCB Kenya and all KCB's regional units in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia and South Sudan.

The Cards Business Development Manager is responsible for crafting and implementing comprehensive strategies and roadmaps for the bank's card products. This includes overseeing the entire product development process, from initial concept generation to successful market launch. The manager will collaborate closely with marketing and customer service teams to create effective go-to-market strategies and support campaigns aimed at increasing product adoption. A key aspect of the role involves establishing and maintaining strong relationships with critical stakeholders such as payment networks (Visa, Mastercard), processors, and technology vendors. The manager will also negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party providers like card manufacturers and payment gateways. Additionally, the role supports the timely implementation of all card issuing projects to accelerate market entry and continuously monitors and improves the customer journey for cardholders across all bank channels to ensure an optimal experience.

1. Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for card products.

4. Establish and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders including payment networks, processors, and technology vendors.

6. Support and drive card issuing projects for timely implementation and faster market entry.
7. Monitor and enhance the customer journey for cardholders across all bank channels.

1. Hold a Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc/HND).
