Senior UI/UX Designer (Product & Brand)

NestVest is a fast-growing Nairobi property platform covering residential rentals, resales and new real-estate project promotions.

This role at NestVest, a rapidly expanding Nairobi-based property platform specializing in residential rentals, resales, and new real estate projects, is for a Senior UI/UX Designer. This individual will be responsible for both digital product design and brand/visual design. Key aspects include designing user interfaces for the property platform to maximize conversions and creating marketing visuals for listings, campaigns, and overall brand presence across various channels. This is a comprehensive design position, requiring a product-oriented mindset and foundational front-end skills.

1. Design and continuously improve the NestVest platform for web and mobile, including property search, listing pages, lead generation flows, dashboards, and administrative tools.
2. Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems using Figma.
3. Manage the design-to-development handover process, ensuring precise implementation.
4. Create e-commerce, brand identity, packaging, and marketing visuals for campaigns, listings, and social media.
5. Maintain consistent brand representation across all customer-facing interactions.
6. Understand the product development lifecycle from discovery to iteration.
7. Proactively identify user experience issues, propose solutions, and collaborate with product and engineering teams.
8. Implement basic style modifications directly using HTML and CSS to address minor UI fixes independently.

1. Possess a comprehensive UI/UX portfolio showcasing work across B2C, B2B, and diverse industries, demonstrating broad experience (include live project links).
2. Present a graphic design portfolio featuring e-commerce, brand design, packaging, and related visual work, emphasizing aesthetic quality.
3. Demonstrate a product mindset, including familiarity with the end-to-end product development process and a problem-solving approach.
4. Exhibit a front-end mindset with practical HTML and CSS skills for basic style adjustments.
5. Have at least 3 years of relevant design experience.
6. Be fluent in English with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
7. Be able to commute to Kilimani, Nairobi.
