Warehouse & Stores Manager

1. Make arrangements for purchase and regulation of equipment
2. Handle clients’ staff correspondence and inquiries about equipment
3. Prevent unauthorized persons from entering stores
4. Coordinate work of staff in stores departments
5. Conduct periodic comparison of balances with physical quantities in stock
6. Advise management on obsolete and slow-moving stocks
7. Prepare daily reports and share with relevant departments
8. Manage and prepare analyzed decommission reports
9. Assist in cost research and comparison of various equipment
10. Issue and keep records on available/issued PPE
11. Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper stock levels
12. Supervise warehouse staff, plan shifts, and schedules
13. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
14. Manage supplier and service provider relationships
15. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports
16. Receive materials into stores after verification
17. Store materials in allocated places and maintain issuance records
18. Conduct monthly stock balances and reconciliation
19. Implement coding systems for easy identification of items
20. Protect equipment from loss due to theft, fire, expiration, or obsolescence
21. Ensure stock levels remain within minimum and maximum limits

1. Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
2. 3–7 years’ experience in a warehouse setting in a supervisory role
3. Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and day-to-day operations
4. Expertise in inventory management, store keeping, storage methods, and control techniques
5. Excellent communication with procurement, logistics, production, and finance departments
6. Understanding of workplace safety regulations, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards
