Job Description
The IT Risk Manager is responsible for assisting the Head of Risk and Compliance in protecting and ensuring the resilience of Finserve's data and IT systems. This involves effectively implementing Technology Information Cybersecurity Controls (TICS) according to the TICS Framework and promoting a strong cybersecurity culture within the company. The role also ensures the company meets its TICS commitments to internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, and maintains an acceptable TICS risk profile, which is regularly reported to the Board.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the data analytics strategy for IT and Cybersecurity risk reporting within the subsidiary.
- Manage data standards, governance, and implementation in line with BCBS
- Support and ensure the digitization of key processes within IT Governance.
- Track the operationalization of policies, standards, and procedures.
- Manage IT people skills and headcount.
- Facilitate the remediation of audit issues.
- Improve risk culture through various initiatives.
- Review new systems and products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Awareness of Technology Information Cybersecurity (TICS) risk assessment.
- Ability to adhere to Technology Information Security Policies and Frameworks.
- Capable of creating employee awareness and training on TICS policies and Frameworks.
