Finance Manager

TGL Credit is a financial institution that provides financial services, seeking a Finance Manager to oversee its financial operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role involves overseeing the institution's financial operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, enhancing financial controls, and offering strategic financial advice to the management team. The manager will be responsible for various financial aspects, from planning and reporting to risk mitigation and audit coordination.

1. Oversee the institution’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
2. Prepare and present accurate financial statements and management reports.
3. Monitor cash flow, liquidity, income, and expenditure.
4. Ensure full compliance with applicable financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards, including CBK regulations and DCP requirements.
5. Develop and maintain effective internal financial controls.
6. Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for improved profitability.
7. Manage treasury operations and the allocation of financial resources.
8. Oversee reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
9. Coordinate internal and external audits.
10. Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
11. Advise management on financial strategies and key business decisions.

1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. Possess a CPA (K), ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
3. Have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience within a financial institution or financial services environment.
4. Demonstrate strong knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and financial management principles.
5. Exhibit excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
6. Be proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
7. Maintain high levels of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
