Job Description
This full-time, onsite role in Kiambu is for an experienced Accountant to join an animal feeds manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various financial aspects of the company's operations, including reporting, cost management, and statutory compliance, under the direct supervision of the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive management accounts, financial reports, and budgets.
- Monitor production costs, manage inventory, and perform stock reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable and receivables, and manage cash flow effectively.
- Maintain accurate financial records and conduct regular bank reconciliations.
- Prepare statutory returns and provide support during audit processes.
Requirements
- Mandatory CPA (K) qualification.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, specifically within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills, attention to accuracy, and high integrity.
