Communications Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of the organization's communication strategy
- Develop blogs, policy briefs, newsletters, infographics, and social media content
- Manage website and social media platforms
- Coordinate community documentation and impact storytelling
- Design and implement media engagement and advocacy campaigns
- Support stakeholder engagement and public forums
- Maintain communication archives and knowledge products
- Support fundraising and donor engagement activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Development Studies, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in communications, advocacy, media, or development communication
- Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and digital communication skills
- Experience working with communities, coalitions, advocacy initiatives, or development programmes
- Demonstrated experience in content creation, media engagement, and translating technical information for wider audiences
