Job Description
A leading manufacturer of concrete hollow blocks and roofing/floor tiles is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee production plant operations, improve efficiency, maintain quality standards, and achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production plant operations.
- Coordinate production of hollow blocks and concrete tiles.
- Develop and implement production schedules.
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, and operational costs.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Implement health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Manage raw material inventory and procurement coordination.
- Lead production supervisors, operators, and support staff.
- Monitor product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze production data and prepare operational reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' manufacturing experience.
- At least 3 years in a management role.
- Experience in concrete products, cement products, blocks, tiles, or related industries is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, maintenance, and inventory management.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
