Networking Engineer

1. Design, configure, and optimize local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), virtual private networks (VPN), and wireless networks.
2. Implement comprehensive network security measures, including firewalls and intrusion prevention systems.
3. Continuously monitor network performance and efficiently troubleshoot any connectivity issues that arise.
4. Manage network hardware components such as routers, switches, and access points, including performing necessary firmware updates.
5. Collaborate effectively with IT and security teams to ensure network architecture aligns with client objectives.
6. Maintain thorough documentation of all network configurations, policies, and operational procedures.

1. Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
2. Possess a minimum of five years of experience in enterprise network design and support.
3. Be a Certified Internetwork Expert (CIE) or hold an internationally recognized equivalent certification.
4. Demonstrate strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, various routing protocols, and fundamental network security principles.
5. Have hands-on experience with network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, or Juniper.
6. Be proficient in using network monitoring tools.
