Job Description
The successful candidate will acquire new customers, reactivate inactive clients, promote remittance services, and maintain long-term customer relationships. The role requires achieving sales targets while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality customer engagement. The position involves close collaboration with operations, compliance and customer experience teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote the company's remittance services.
- Follow up on customer inquiries and convert leads into active remittance users.
- Educate customers on the company's remittance solutions, transaction processes, fees, exchange rates, and service benefits.
- Reactivate dormant customers and encourage repeat transactions.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales and customer acquisition targets.
- Cross-sell and upsell other financial products and services where applicable.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow-up and engagement.
- Accurately capture customer information and update CRM systems after every interaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and objections professionally, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with the Operations, Compliance, and Customer Experience teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery.
- Participate in sales campaigns, promotions, and customer awareness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and all regulatory requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly telesales reports.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in telesales, customer service, sales, or call centre operations is an added advantage.
- Experience in remittance, banking, fintech, mobile money, or other financial services will be an added advantage.
